The first workshop presentation at 4pm on Wed July 7th will be a free event with a maximum of 10 spectators and does not require pre-booking. For this event Moon Byung-Jae invites his father as a special guest. The final presentation at 7pm on Thursday July 8th can be pre-booked with ticket price 10,000 won. Performer Kyungmin Na will be the special guest for the final presentation.
Work Room is space for participating artists to confront their ideas and artistic practices in a workshop setting. Participants develop existing projects or simply interrogate an idea in the spirit of experimentation and sharing. Projects will conclude with a public outcome.
You crack a joke and someone laughs. Is it because you have a sense of humour in common, a shared humour code? Where dose our sense of humour come from? This project looks at the humour (or humour code) of this era and the relationship between a person’s self-identity and others by examining the journey from the ‘Funny Moon Byung-jae’ to the ‘Not so funny Moon Byung-jae’.
‘creative tookchida’ has been working to transform recordings of daily life and subsequent realisations and changes of consciousness derived from their work process, into their own stage language. The company has a particular interest in sensing the things that touch us.
